I have been obsessed with using fake tan for years, my first tan being St Moriz (if you know, you know) When I was around 15. I am now 21 and think it’s safe to say i’ve had my fair share of disasters but feel like I have spent enough years experimenting to find a routine that works well for me.
The first thing I do when it comes to tanning is soak in the bath the night before and shave, exfoliate and all that jazz. I always shave the night prior as otherwise I find it stings and doesn’t go on as well as it should because of my pores being open, the reason I get a bath instead of shower is so I can fully soak my body to make sure I remove any old tan before I put a fresh layer on.
So the night after that I will tan, I prefer to tan on the night so I can sleep in it and it will develop as I sleep rather than being a sticky mess all day and having to worry about what to wear etc. A few hours before I will moisturise my face as this acts like a barrier cream and stops it clinging to any dry patches and by putting it on a few hours before it sinks into the skin more. I will also put some on my elbows, knees and any dry areas I may have just before tanning to stop build up.
My favourite ever tan is the cocoa brown one hour tan, I have been using this tan for a good 2 years now and it is honestly the best I have tried although I do branch out to try new ones, nothing so far has ever beat this.

Okay so for todays post I thought I would do something a little different and post about what I do at the gym. I am by no means trying to tell you this is what you should be doing I am not a professional just sharing what works for me! Before I started the gym I found it helpful to see what other girls do. I am not trying to lose weight just tone up and build muscle.
I don’t train different parts on different days like I know most people do as I don’t have the time so I just do it all at once!
So to start with I like to warm my body up by doing about 5 minutes on the cross trainer, I don’t spend too long on here as truthfully I find it quite boring but it’s really good for so many different parts of your body and helps warm you and your muscles up.
Then I like to do some arm workouts, most gyms will have a few of these machines and they are so good! I like the fact you can change the weight as I am so weak (lol). If you don’t feel comfortable doing such exercises in a room full of men then see if your local gym has a womens only part, mine does and it is so useful sometimes when the main gym is too intimidating!
I then like to go back to cardio using the treadmill, I have always been a huge lover of running ever since I was little I was part of my schools cross country team so I love using this machine. Interval training is my favourite way to use this machine as for me personally I get better results from doing a fast sprint for a minute and then doing a fast incline walk rather than staying the same. I don’t want to loose much weight so my main reason for using this machine is purely to keep up my fitness levels.
After this I will finish off with some hip abductor workouts, sit ups, plank, weights etc..
